One wooden hanger rests on the rusted metal railing of a Kaohsiung balcony, silhouetted against the warm, low-angle light of the setting sun. The grain of the wood is highlighted by the golden glow, revealing small scratches and the natural texture of the bent pine. Below the railing, the blurred shapes of nearby residential buildings and tangled utility wires create a dense urban backdrop typical of the city's older districts. A faint shadow of the hanger's hook is cast sharply against the weathered concrete wall behind it.
