Weathered Wooden Mailbox in Tunis

A weathered wooden mailbox stands anchored against the rough, textured stucco wall of a traditional Tunisian house in the medina. Winter noon sunlight strikes the peeling white paint, revealing layers of ochre and grey beneath the chipped surface. To the right, a small terracotta pot holds resilient red geraniums, their vibrant petals against the dusty stone floor. One dried leaf rests near the base, caught in the sharp shadow cast by the metal flap.
