Vintage Lace Macro on Kamakura Window
Thread-thin white lace fills the frame, its intricate floral motifs standing out against the cool blue twilight of a Kamakura windowpane. Frost edges the glass, creating a jagged white border that meets the delicate fabric. The city lights of the Japanese city begin to glow in the distance, appearing as soft, out-of-focus orbs of warm amber and cool white. These distant lights reflect faintly on the polished wooden floor below, where muted streaks of color stretch across the dark grain. The lace hangs still, its paper-like texture catching the last ambient light of early winter.
