Warm golden light spills across a long wooden bench where a vendor pours thick red borscht from a heavy metal pot into a white ceramic bowl. The setting is a flower auction hall in Olomouc, where bundles of frost-dusted tulips and hyacinths rest beside the food station. Winter air hangs heavy, visible as faint mist rising from the steaming soup against the cool, damp stone floor. Droplets of rain streak the high windows, softening the honeyed glow that illuminates the vendor's hands and the glossy surface of the vegetables. Steam curls upward, catching the low light, while the deep crimson of the soup contrasts sharply with the pale blue petals scattered nearby. One spoon rests on the rim of the bowl, reflecting the warm overhead fixtures.
