Vendor Cart in Luxor

Under the harsh, flat noon light of Luxor, a street vendor pushes a metal cart loaded with glass bottles, the condensation on the chilled surfaces stark against the dusty air. The cart’s caster wheel rests on cracked pavement near a wall where darkened tile grout reveals years of moisture and heat. Beside the vendor, a bicycle leans casually against a post, its handlebars tangled with a notebook left open to a ledger. Zinnias in a chipped pot add a splash of vibrant color to the otherwise muted, sun-bleached surroundings, while a small brass bell hangs from the cart’s frame, catching the bright, unfiltered sunlight.
