Vancouver Harbour Bridge Reflections in Twilight Blue Light Harbor Waters

The steel truss of the Burrard Street Bridge dominates the upper frame against a deepening indigo sky during the last blue light of evening. Below, the dark water of the harbor mirrors the structure’s heavy counterweight tower and lattice girders, distorted slightly by gentle ripples on the surface. A few distant sailboats drift near the shoreline, their lights beginning to pierce the dimming air. The foreground shows the concrete edge of the seawall, worn and gray, leading toward the bridge’s massive support columns rising from the water. The quiet transition from day to night in this Canadian coastal city, with the bridge serving as a stark, industrial silhouette against the softening twilight.
