Deep shadow swallows the foreground where a vintage Vespa rests against a switchback road leading toward M'Bour. The scooter's chrome edges catch a thin rim of twilight light, separating its silhouette from the humid air. Heat haze distorts the background, turning distant buildings into soft, wavering shapes that blur the boundary between solid stone and sky. Rain-soaked pavement reflects the fading blue of the season, while converging lines of the road pull toward a vanishing point hidden in the mist. The metal body of the scooter shows water droplets, and the rear tire presses into the wet asphalt, anchoring the machine in the heavy, still air of the rainy evening.
