A white Turkish Angora cat stands centered in a narrow open-air corner beside a weathered courtyard wall in Santo Domingo. The animal faces forward with a direct, intense gaze that fills the frame from the top of its tufted ears to its chest. Late afternoon light falls through the scene, catching the fine, silky texture of the coat while casting soft shadows against the rough plaster surface. A painted stair rail curves into the lower right background, and the edge of a fabric curtain lifts slightly in the breeze. The clear daylight highlights the distinct triangular face shape and the specific ear set characteristic of the breed. Dust motes float in the air near the cat's paws on the concrete floor.
