Trinidadian Callaloo Bowl Underwater in Indonesia

A ceramic bowl rests on a sandy seabed, filled with vibrant green callaloo leaves, chunks of crab, and pale dumplings. Bright noon light penetrates the clear tropical water, illuminating the contents with flat, even intensity. Tiny suspended particles glitter in the water column around the bowl, catching the sunlight like scattered diamonds. The shallow depth of field blurs the background into soft blues and browns while keeping the food textures sharp. The cool season air outside contrasts with the submerged stillness. Green leaf veins stand out against the white dumpling skin. A cluster of sand grains sticks to the rim of the bowl.
