A Toy Manchester Terrier stands alert on a damp cobblestone path, its jet-black coat gleaming with wet sheen under the cool blue of early twilight. The dog's sleek body and erect ears are sharply defined against a softly blurred background of colonial stone walls and distant city lights beginning to flicker on. Puddles on the ground reflect the fading sky and warm yellow glows from street lamps. The animal's dark eyes and short muzzle are captured in crisp detail, while the shallow depth of field melts the surrounding greenery into indistinct shapes. Wet leaves rest on the edges of the path, and the humid air after rain is suggested by the glistening surfaces of the dog's fur and the stone beneath its paws.
