Under the flat glare of noon, the narrow alley of the Marrakech Medina is lit by harsh, direct sunlight that eliminates soft shadows. A rough plaster wall, textured with age and heat, dominates the right side of the frame. Cast against this bright surface is the sharp, intricate shadow of a woven wicker basket hanging just out of view to the left. In the lower foreground, a traditional clay water pitcher rests on a stone step, its handle wrapped in coarse twine where individual fibers are clearly visible in the high-contrast light. A quiet, static moment of daily life, showing the mix of light, texture, and shadow in the historic urban environment without any human presence.
