Terry Cloth Robes on Chrome Salon Counter

Amber salon light washes over a row of folded white terry cloth robes resting on a polished chrome counter. The fabric shows deep, soft loops and slight color residue near the hemlines where dyes have settled. Bright mirror banks above reflect the neutral overhead spill, doubling the texture of the acrylic trays beside the linens. Handle-wrapped paper bags sit at the edge, their creased surfaces catching the copper-toned glow of late summer dusk filtering through the window. A faint sheen of moisture remains on the metal, against the dry, plush pile of the robes. at the edge is a single thread snagged on the chrome edge, marking the boundary between the soft textile and the hard surface.
