Terracotta Bowls in Melbourne

Sunlight cuts through the morning mist on a narrow laneway off Bourke Street, illuminating a stack of weathered terracotta bowls resting on a damp concrete step beside a closed café. The warm orange glow contrasts sharply with the cool grey of the brickwork and the wet pavement, where puddles reflect the fading blue of the early sky. One rattan stool sits overturned nearby, its woven texture catching the first direct rays of the sun.
