Morning light breaks over the harbor as a white water taxi docks at the floating pier, its engine idling near the gangway. A commuter in a dark jacket steps off the boat onto the wet concrete, joining a small crowd waiting for the connection. Leaning against a weathered brick wall nearby, a vintage bicycle with a wicker basket rests on its kickstand, catching the early sun.
