Cool storefront light flattens the white tile and acrylic surfaces of a reception counter in Piacenza. A foil comb soak jar sits centrally, its rim catching the bright mirror spill while dye residue stains the surrounding tray. Condensation beads on nearby glass, marking the dead of winter. In the foreground, bokeh softens the edge of a paper card. Behind the jar, a fully visible astronaut riding a unicorn crosses the frame, defying physics against the mundane salon backdrop. The chrome tools reflect the sunset orange pooling on the floor, contrasting sharply with the impossible figure. one drop of water hangs from the glass edge.
