Sunrise Light on Bakery Counter in Vienna

A bustling Viennese bakery counter glows under warm overhead lights before sunrise, with a barista in a white apron pouring steaming coffee into ceramic cups. Several customers in winter coats stand near the glass display case, smiling as they point at trays of fresh pastries and bread. A plate of zaatar manakeesh sits on the counter next to a tray of honey-drizzled baklava, while a whiteboard behind the register lists daily specials in handwritten German. Steam rises from a large pot on the stove, and a measuring cup rests near a stack of clean utensils in a crock. Through the front window, the cool gray light of early morning filters onto the street, against the cozy, busy interior.
