Bright midday sun casts sharp shadows across the pale limestone pavement of a narrow alley in Dubrovnik. A local man in a white shirt leans against a weathered wall, holding a brass escutcheon from a nearby shop window while inspecting a small tool. Tourists in summer attire walk past, their figures blurred by motion. The warm tones of the stone contrast with the deep blue of the Adriatic Sea visible at the end of the passage. One magnolia bloom hangs from a potted plant near a doorway, its petals slightly damp. The daily rhythm of the old town, with sunlight reflecting off the textured walls and the casual interaction between the vendor and the passerby.
