A vendor sits near a doorway, arranging wares on a low wooden crate. Resting prominently on the crate is a worn leather hatbox, its brass corners gleaming under the harsh sun. Beside it lies a single fragment of colorful Talavera pottery, catching the light against the rough stone. Pedestrians in casual 1980s attire walk past in the background, their shadows sharp and short on the paved ground.
