First light falls through the coastal haze of Alexandria, casting a soft blue hue over a busy corner near the corniche. A local vendor stands behind a small wooden cart, pouring steaming tea from a polished metal carafe into small glass cups. The cart is cluttered with daily essentials, including a dented storage tin and a worn saucepan resting on a portable burner. Nearby, a few pairs of slippers are left by the curb as pedestrians pass in their early morning routines. The quiet transition from night to day, with the soft glow of dawn illuminating the textures of the street and the casual interactions of the locals.
