A delivery rider on a red electric scooter navigates through the crowd, balancing a stack of cardboard boxes secured by a metal hinge on the rear rack. Nearby, a street vendor adjusts a glass pitcher filled with iced plum juice on a wooden cart, steam rising faintly from a nearby pot. Pedestrians in casual modern clothing walk past a weathered tunnel portal retaining wall patched with fresh concrete, contrasting the old neighborhood charm with new infrastructure.
