Stonecutter with Limestone Dust at Khuzdar Twilight

Heavy gray clouds hang low over the landscape near Khuzdar, pressing the subject into deep shadow while a sharp rim of cool blue light traces the edge of his hair and shoulder. Fine white limestone dust coats the brow and settles into the deep lines of the forehead, resting against the darkened skin. The figure stands isolated within a vast expanse of negative space, surrounded by the muted tones of the overcast sky. Dust particles rest on the texture of the work-worn collar, and the soft edge of the rim light defines the sharp angle of the jaw before fading into the surrounding gray void. The heavy atmosphere presses down on the scene.
