Beside a chipped ceramic pitcher filled with clear water, a paring knife rests on a cutting board next to chopped herbs. The wall behind shows water marks on painted plaster, evidence of frequent cleaning. A wooden stool sits slightly askew near the entrance, while a guitar case leans against the back wall, unused but present.
