A massive Spanish Mastiff stands on a gravel path near a garden edge in Qamishli, its thick ruff and heavy coat catching the soft morning light. The dog's broad muzzle and folded ears are clearly defined against a backdrop of green foliage and a low stone wall. Loose stones in the immediate foreground lead toward the animal's sturdy paws. Warm sunlight falls through nearby trees, creating dappled highlights on the dog's tan and black fur. The animal gazes slightly off-camera, its expression calm and alert. The shallow depth of field isolates the subject while keeping the texture of the gravel and the leaves distinct and sharp.
