Soft Boiled Egg on Plinth Monaco Winter Light

Pale yellow egg white fills a small cream ceramic cup, its surface smooth and slightly glossy. The cup rests centered on a white linen napkin, where fabric folds create soft, linear shadows. Cool, pre-dawn light enters from the left, stretching long, blue-tinted shadows across the museum plinth. The background dissolves into a dark, indistinct blur, leaving the sharp texture of the egg and the matte finish of the ceramic in focus. A tiny, bright highlight gleams on the rim of the cup, positioned against deep shadows pooling at the base of the napkin. The unmoving light reveals the crisp edges of the fabric against the hard stone surface.
