Silhouetted Firefly in Venice Twilight Haze

Amidst the shimmering heat haze of a midsummer evening near Venice, a tiny firefly glows with a steady amber point of light against the deepening blue of twilight. The insect hangs in mid-air, its delicate wings rendered as a dark, blurred silhouette by the fading backlight. Surrounding it, the air ripples with visible thermal distortion, warping the faint outlines of distant reeds and water. A weathered wooden beam from a nearby dock creates a natural frame, enclosing the glowing creature within a dark, textured border. The glow contrasts sharply with the cool, hazy tones of the lagoon, highlighting the raw elemental energy of the moment. A faint reflection of the light dances on the dark water surface below the frame.
