The feline's deep blue eyes and pointed ears are sharp against the soft, clipped green grass. Late afternoon shadows stretch across the ground, creating a rim of warm light along the cat's spine and the edge of a folded blanket nearby. A porch chair arm and a shrub frame the corner of the scene, at the base of the domestic animal in a lived-in tropical space. The texture of the cat's short fur contrasts with the rough weave of the blanket and the smooth blades of the lawn under the clear sky.
