Shan Noodles Fish Almaty Sunset Glow

Warm candlelight glows over a ceramic bowl of Burmese Shan noodles topped with pickled mustard greens, resting on a clean plate near a window in Almaty. Shadows from the window frame stretch across the ceramic rim, ending at the edge of the plate where the fish school passes overhead.
