Seville Plaza pigeons gather near clay pots in late afternoon light

A group of gray pigeons scatters across the worn stone pavement of a sun-drenched plaza in Seville during the late afternoon. Sunlight slants through the arches of the surrounding white-washed buildings, casting long shadows that stretch toward the center of the square. Several large, terracotta clay pots sit lined up against a low wall, their earthy tones against the bright stucco. The birds peck at crumbs near the base of the pots, their heads bobbing in quick, erratic movements. In the background, the intricate tile work of a nearby fountain is partially visible, adding texture to the scene. The air appears still, capturing a quiet moment of urban life in the Spanish city.
