A Cairo street vendor in a crisp white galabeya balances a stack of gleaming aluminum tea trays on his shoulder, the golden hour sun catching the rim light on his turban and the curved handles of the tongs tucked into his belt. Steam rises gently from a small copper spout on his portable stove, cutting through the dusty air as he navigates past a wall of faded turquoise stucco. A French Bulldog sits patiently on the sidewalk nearby, its ears perked as it watches the vendor pour dark tea into a matte-glazed ceramic cup held by a waiting customer.
