A street vendor stands behind a steaming food cart on a quiet Seoul sidewalk just before dawn, the pre-sunrise light casting a cool blue hue over the wet pavement. Condensation beads on the metal surface of the cart as the vendor ladles hot broth into a bowl for a waiting customer wrapped in a thick coat. In the background, the blurred lights of a nearby convenience store and a passing taxi reflect on the damp asphalt, while a faint outline of a high-rise apartment building rises against the darkening sky. A bicycle with a basket rests nearby, its handlebars draped with a rain cover, adding to the candid, lived-in feel of the early morning routine in the city.
