The first light of dawn casts a soft, cool glow over the terracotta roofs of traditional adobe buildings in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Long shadows stretch across the cobblestone plaza as the sky transitions from deep indigo to pale orange. A few early morning pedestrians walk along the sidewalk, bundled in light jackets against the crisp air. The textured stucco walls of the nearby structures show subtle variations in earth tones, illuminated by the low-angle sunlight. In the background, the silhouette of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains rises against the brightening horizon. The quiet, historic character of the city before the day fully begins, with no artificial lighting visible yet.
