Golden afternoon sunlight bathes the textured adobe walls of a traditional Santa Fe building, highlighting the earthy tones of the stucco. A weathered wooden stair rail runs along the side of the structure, leading up to a shaded entryway where shadows lengthen across the ground. The warm light catches the edge of a thick wooden door, casting a distinct sun stripe across the metal latch. Nearby, a small patch of dirt shows pebbles pressed into wet mud from recent irrigation, at the base of the scene in the local landscape. The sky above is a clear, deep blue, against the warm hues of the historic architecture and the quiet, lived-in character of the street corner.
