Santa Fe Majolica Plate

A ceramic majolica plate rests on a rough-hewn adobe ledge outside a Santa Fe adobe building during the bright winter noon. The plate features a vibrant turquoise glaze with white geometric patterns that catch the direct sunlight and cast a sharp shadow on the earth-toned wall behind it. A few dried cholla cactus arms lie nearby on the stone surface, adding a textured natural contrast to the smooth, glossy ceramic. The deep blue sky visible above the flat roofline, showing the stark clarity of the high desert light.
