Santa Fe Construction Site at The Predawn Darkness Light

The predawn darkness of Santa Fe envelops a busy street corner where a mason works under the harsh glare of portable work lights. A scaffold rises against the adobe wall, its surface textured with traditional stucco. On a wooden plank, a mason's trowel rests beside a pile of wet mortar, the lime white against the dark wood. Nearby, a folding ruler lies open, its metal segments catching the light. The scene is grounded by the distinctive pinkish hue of the adobe architecture, a hallmark of New Mexico construction. The street is empty, save for the worker preparing the facade for the day, with the deep blue sky beginning to lighten above the flat horizon of the high desert.
