Late afternoon light washes over the textured stucco walls of a historic Santa Fe building, casting long shadows across the street. A rustic wooden shelf sits in the open doorway of an artisan shop, displaying small jars and a cluster of dried local flowers arranged in a clay vase. Several spots of dried paint in ochre and turquoise adhere to the shelf's surface, remnants of a recent craft project.
