San Francisco Autumn Leaves at The Predawn Darkness Light

A low-angle street view shows a deep excavation trench in San Francisco where a thick district heating pipe releases visible steam into the predawn darkness. The white vapor rises and swirls around the exposed metal, against the damp, dark asphalt and scattered brown autumn leaves caught in the grate. The scene is illuminated by the faint, cool blue light of early morning, highlighting the industrial texture of the pipe and the rough edges of the concrete curbs. No people are present, showing the quiet infrastructure of the city before the day begins, with the steam providing the only movement in the still, gray environment.
