The scene is set in a chilled distribution bay near Pretoria, where midsummer air remains still inside. Surfaces show signs of heavy daily use, with scratches on plastic and dust settling on the tubes. The light falls across the objects, highlighting the texture of the fabric and the sheen of the laminate. One reflection of the window frame appears on the smooth plastic of a binder.
