The dog's muzzle is broad and blocky, and its ears are set high and folded forward against the skull. Behind the animal, a plain, sun-bleached courtyard wall rises, showing faint cracks and weathering from the tropical sun. The lighting is harsh and bright, casting deep shadows under the porch eaves while the background wall glows with intense daylight. Dramatic, heavy clouds fill the sky above the wall line, against the quiet stillness of the animal resting at eye level. The texture of the fur is sharp and visible, with individual hairs catching the edge of the shadow.
