A massive Romanian Carpathian Shepherd stands alert on a gravel path bordered by low stone walls and dormant ferns. The dog's thick, wolf-grey and cream coat ripples with coarse texture, highlighting the broad muzzle and high-set triangular ears that define the breed. Overhead, heavy grey clouds press low against the ancient stone ruins visible in the soft focus background. Midday light falls through the breaks in the cloud cover, casting sharp shadows across the animal's muscular shoulders and the uneven path. The Zorki 1 shows the scene with a distinct vintage sharpness, showing the contrast between the dense fur and the smooth, weathered stones of the garden edge. One dry leaf rests near the dog's heavy paw.
