Ripples Across Shallow Water in Krakow

Raindrops disturb the shallow puddle on the cobblestones near the Old Town square, creating concentric ripples that reflect the gray morning sky. The wet stones glisten under the diffuse first light, their uneven surfaces catching the soft glow of distant streetlamps still burning out. A few scattered autumn leaves drift lazily across the water's surface, their edges softened by the moisture. The ripples expand outward, distorting the reflection of the nearby church spire into fragmented silver lines.
