Soft, diffused light from an overcast late summer morning fills the grooming bay near Belgrano, Buenos Aires. A glass jar holding reptile feeding tongs sits on a tiled floor, viewed from a low angle. Stacks of grooming tools, training leashes, and aquatic care equipment rise beside the jar, organized against cream-colored walls. Grout lines and slight wear on the jar bases show the texture of the floor. Quiet shadows stretch along the perimeter where the walls meet the ground. A faint reflection of a window frame appears on the polished surface of a nearby plastic container resting on the tiles.
