A Redbone Coonhound lies sprawled across a wooden window seat inside a Palma Soriano apartment, its short copper-red coat glowing under the rich amber light of late monsoon dusk. The dog's distinct muzzle shape and folded ears rest against a cushion while soft side light carves highlights along its shoulder blades. Polished surfaces in the room catch small, sharp reflections from the passing sunset, against the soft focus of the foreground. Behind the animal, the background remains sharp, revealing the quiet geometry of the window frame and the humid stillness of the season. Dust motes drift in the copper-toned beam, settling on the clean floorboards near the dog's paws.
