Recovery Cone Basket in Hong Kong Spin Studio

Cool blue twilight bleeds across the concrete floor of a spin studio near Mong Kok, mixing with the harsh white glare of overhead LED fixtures. A red training cone, repurposed as a laundry basket, rests low against the wall, overflowing with white towels, crumpled plastic water bottles, rubber resistance bands, and mesh bags. Dry season conditions leave surfaces clear of condensation. Textures range from the smooth plastic of the bottles to the fibrous weave of the towels. A crumpled paper receipt lies against the cone's rubber rim, catching a sliver of reflected light. Muted reflections of the city lights begin to glow outside, stretching along the polished floor beneath the clutter.
