Radiology Booth in Sydney MRI Suite at Golden Hour
by Erica Bolton
Warm golden light floods the interior of a radiology control booth near Surry Hills, casting long amber reflections across polished stainless steel surfaces. A thick lead-glass window dominates the foreground, separating the operator from the MRI suite beyond. Along the right wall, rows of dosimeter badges hang neatly from small hooks, their plastic casings catching distinct highlights against the dimmer room tones. The control panel sits to the left, its digital displays glowing softly in the low light. Early summer sunlight streams through a high window, illuminating dust motes that settle on the smooth desk surface. A shadow from the window frame falls sharply across the floor, ending at the base of a medical chair. The glass reflects the faint outline of the badges, merging the foreground and background into a single disciplined visual plane.
