Purple Eggplants in Venice

A weathered stone balcony railing in Venice frames a cluster of dark purple eggplants resting on a rough terracotta tile. The clear afternoon sun casts sharp, defined shadows across the waxy skin of the vegetables, highlighting their natural curves.
