Pressed Into Wet Mud in Ho Chi Minh City

A cluster of damp, dark mud rests on the worn wooden planks of a narrow alleyway in Ho Chi Minh City, where overcast midday light diffuses evenly across the wet surface. Small, smooth pebbles are pressed deeply into the soft earth, creating textured indentations that catch the subtle gray tones of the cloudy sky above. Beside this muddy patch, a faded blue plastic stool sits precariously on the uneven ground, its legs slightly sunk into the soft soil. The rough texture of the wet mud contrasts sharply with the smooth, rounded shapes of the embedded stones, highlighting the gritty reality of the urban environment.
