Steam rises from a metal teapot as the vendor pours hot water into a cup, leaving faint tea stains on the saucer edge nearby. Beside the tea setup sits a vintage brass microscope with glass slides arranged neatly beside it, an unusual sight on the pavement. In the background, a potted protea bush with silver leaves and king protea blooms adds a touch of greenery to the urban scene. A fisherman walks past in the distance, casting a line into the bay, while the city remains still in the predawn darkness.
