Postal Hamper Tags Rail in San Francisco Cross Dock

Rows of rectangular postal hamper tags hang from a metal rail system that stretches deep into a cross-dock lane. The tags display distinct colors separating postal, yard-support, and air-cargo workflows. Noon light falls through heavy curtains, casting soft, diffused rectangles of brightness across the clean, gray concrete floor. The converging lines of the rail guide toward a distant vanishing point where the operational space narrows. Autumn leaves in muted gold and russet tones are visible through the high windows, against the industrial steel and organized plastic tags. The surfaces are dust-free, reflecting the flat glare of the midday sun without harsh shadows. One empty hook at the front of the rail marks the start of the next sorting cycle.
