Soft overcast light fills the indoor sorting facility, casting quiet shadows along the concrete walls. A long conveyor belt stretches across the frame, its rubber surface marked with the faint scuff of recent movement. Thermal printers sit atop the machinery, their white casings against the industrial gray of the metal housing. Red emergency-stop buttons encased in clear plastic housings stand out against the muted tones of the equipment. Misroute bins line the side, their plastic edges catching the diffuse daylight. The turn of seasons is visible in the slight chill of the air suggested by the stillness of the dust motes. One red warning label on a control panel anchors the eye at the lower right edge of the frame.
