The background dissolves into soft darkness, leaving only the foreground object in focus. Dry air hangs still in the predawn hours, showing the clarity of the liquid. Tiny specular highlights dance across the rim where the light hits the blue tint. The oil inside shows a subtle viscosity, holding its shape perfectly against the cool blue container. The shallow depth of field isolates the cup from the surrounding void, drawing attention to the texture of the glass and the clarity of the oil.
